Hair Product Finds @ Walgreens

Not sure if this sale is at all Walgreens
BUT
they have an awesome sale of natural hair care products right now.

They had a number of products on sale all for prices under $2.00
so I couldn't pass it up.
I never tried any of the products that were on sale so
below are a few items that I decided to try out!

Dr. Miracle Follicle Healer Energizing Creme (Original Price: $3.99) | Sale Price: $ 1.69

Dr. Miracle Follicle Healer Energizing Deep Conditioner (Original Price: $1.69) | Sale Price: $ 0.45

Dr. Miracle Follicle Healer Energizing Pomade (Original Price: $4.99) | Sale Price: $ 1.89

Morocco Hydrating Hair Mask (Original Price: $6.99) | Sale Price: $ 1.69

Elasta Intense Hiar Conditioning Creme (Original Price: $3.49) | Sale Price: $ 1.69

Wave Nouveau Finishing Mist (Original Price: $5.99) | Sale Price: $ 1.69

They also had a couple of Loc & Twist Gels for sale for under $2.00!

So if your looking to experiment with new products on your natural hair I suggest you
head over to your nearest Walgreens to check what they have on sale right now.

Today I deep conditioned my hair with the Dr. Miracle Follicle Healer Deep Conditioner.
The only thing I dislike about it is that the smell is REALLY STRONG...and has a medicated smell to it..
But other than that, I think my hair was a happy camper today and it feels refreshed!

After deep conditioning, I used the Elasta Hair Conditioning Creme and Nouveau Finishing Mist to style.
I think I like the results from these products so far!

Here's a couple photos!

Ten months "AuNaptural"

Well it has been about a year and 4 months since I last put a relaxer in my hair and it has been 10 months since my "Big Chop". I must say it has been a journey dealing with this hair but I wouldn't change a thing. As I always say, it was the best decision I ever made pertaining to my hair.
This morning I did a quick twist out which resulted in a lot of shrinkage. Shrinkage is definitely an enemy of mine...I truly hate it but...what can I do! ***shrug***
When I hit my 1 year mark I'll do a blowout so that you can see how much my hair has grown. But for now here's a few photos from today!

Nappiversary Update

January 1st will be my 9 month anniversary of being natural! I have to say becoming a natural and getting away from that "creamy crack" has been the BEST decision I have ever made. I have learned to embrace my kinky hair in a way that I never thought I would. My husband says that I am "obsessed" with my hair now. I think I can actually agree with him on this one. LOL!
I took these photos today. It is a two day old Twist Out. It would probably be a bit stretched out more but I am a super WILD sleeper and never stay in one place while sleep ....so I was told. So the back is a bit matted down more than it should be. I will eventually take a photo of my twist out when I first take them out. Oh and I think you can maybe actually see the reddish tint to my hair alittle now from me dyeing my hair a couple weeks back. The sun is lightening it day by day. I may color it a tint bit lighter just because..not sure just yet. But this will do for now.

New Hair Color

I dyed my hair this morning because I was tired of the jet black color and I'm used to a lighter color anyway..my normal sandy brown hair but um...the color I chose turned my hair into a brownish, reddish, orangish color...lol... The roots..of course..are lighter because it took my original hair color and changed it and then the back and closer to the tips are a bit darker...so I now how a two toned hair color...I tried taking a number of photos to show you the color but I could only get this photo which kind of shows you my roots color..its definitely lighter than this. I was going to try outside but unfortunately we are having a gloomy day here in Fort Lauderdale and its been raining all day sooooooo I will eventually be able to get a photo that shows the result that it came out to be. I actually kind of like it. Im sure it will grow on me. But yeah...you totally can't see the color in the photos..LOL
THANK YOU FOR VISITING!
