"Fashion Fights for Breast Cancer" Event

I never got a chance to blog and post how the event was. I uploaded photos of the event on my Facebook Business Page but never got a chance to tell everyone how awesome it was. I was able to be a part of Fashion Fights for Breast Cancer in raising money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. I am pleased to announce that the event was only shy of $64.00 of the $1000.00 goal. Amazing!

My best friend Sandy and her sister supported me in coming along and volunteering for the event. I can always count on my Sands to be there! Even though they both tend to bully me ALL THE TIME...I am soooo happy they came.


I had a great time taking photos of the event and also meeting so many different people. Even though the weather was absolutely ugly outside so many people still came out and supported! I was able to donate a free photo session to the cause for which a great family won. :) This was their first annual event..so I am extremely excited to see what next year has in store! He Proposed...Again!! (Best 5 year Anniversary Ever)

My Husband and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary this past Thursday and it was full of surprises for me! He never ceases to amaze me and I love him more and more each day!! I posted a few photos for everyone to see on here. A TuTu Cute Photo Shoot!!!

I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot with awesome little girls this past weekend for Company TuTu Cute. They have THE CUTEST Tu-Tu's for those girly girls. Any ages...from newborn and up! I'm thinking about ordering myself one! :) They are the best to photograph your girls in! I photo'd two baby girls and then the winners and contestants of the Miss Runway Competition to show off these beautiful creations! The 15th Annual American Black Film Festival

I had the pleasure of covering the ABFF last night on the Red Carpet of Michael Baisden's "Do Women Know What They Want" Film Screening for City Nights TV. I really enjoyed myself...besides Damon Wayans bumping into me and being so close that I couldn't take a picture (which upset me) I had an awesome time capturing interviews and photos of the celebrities that were there to support! Michael Baisden, along with others such as his sidekick George Willborn, Actress Aunjanue Ellis, and 2010 Miss Black USA Osas Ighodaro were all there! I will be attending tonight as well for Saturday's screenings for Eric Benet's "Trinity GoodHeart" (I'm excited to see him) :) and the ABFF Honors Ceremony hosted by Anthony Anderson.

38 Years of Unconditional Love!!

My Mommy and Daddy just celebrated their 38 Year Anniversary this past week and I am extremely thankful to both of them for being the best example of what marriage is supposed to be! True and unconditional love radiates off of the two of them. Throughout their journey together they have two WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL daughters and HANDSOME son in laws....and three AMAZING grandchildren: Ashley, JR and AJ...

My parents have a strong and happy marriage. I'm not just saying this because they are my parents but it is a fact. One reason I know is because they have built their marriage around Jehovah God! My mom used to always tell me that the Bible is a blueprint that we have to follow and by following God's Word "The Bible" all things are possible and look what is has brought them; 38 years of a strong bond that has not and cannot be broken.

I want to thank both my parents for being a GREAT example for my husband and I, and I have to make sure that I strive to putting Jehovah and his Word in our marriage! Alberto and I are going on 5 years strong and looking to get to where my parents are...38 years is an accomplishment like no other.

The boys and I just want to say that we love you guys very much and thank you for everything that you have shown and given us!!!
