"Editing My Life Away"

December has been a very busy month for KLM PHOTOGRAPHY and I LOVE IT!  I have been incessantly editing...everyday....and I still have tons of work to do. I think I have become an expert on time management and making sure I meet my deadlines for everything. As we say, We "AIM" to please!

While I edit I like to take breaks and most of them time my breaks consist of browsing the internet, reading blogs, etc..etc. Well, today I decided to redo both my main blog and Tumblr blogs appearance and I have to admit I am IN LOVE with both right now! I know I have changed them a number of times but I have come to realize that "Simple is Better." And I love that both are simple. This blog is my main blog which I like to share my  work and experiences throughout photo sessions and family life. My Tumblr blog is more of a fun gesture that allows me to not only share my experiences but allows me to interact with other bloggers and share what I like within their blogs as well with my readers. I have become addicted to Tumblr.

"Batman...dunanannananana"

I have to admit I love doing event photography! The candids come out amazing!...

SuperMom Teesha chose KLM PHOTOGRAPHY to cover her son's party this morning. She has the cutest son ever and I loved taking photos of him interacting with his family and friends. The party was Batman themed and I had the chance to meet Batman, Robin and the Joker...how cool is that...lol My boys JR and AJ would've loved to meet them! The kids at the party were just as excited! Overall the day was great...Doing the event and being able to see my best friend Sandy and my Godkids..even if it was for a brief moment! Hope you all enjoyed your Saturday!

"JR and His Alphabet Sounds"

I will be posting my baby on every media outlet that I have because he is just so dern cute....so you guys may see him a number of times..LOL

Here is my oldest son (4 years old) doing his alphabet sounds! So cute!

I love him!

You may hear me giggling throughout the video because when he does certain letters he sounds toooo adorable when doing it! The letter "L" and "X" get me every time! :)

My "Mini Photo Session"

Thanks to my new personal Iphoneographer (sorry I love that word term now) I had a mini photo session of my own while doing the family photo shoot on Saturday in Orlando, FL. Photo credit goes out to the lovely Elena Fernandez that I took photos of with her family. While I was shooting her daughter she was shooting me..we both were so excited about the photos. I had a great time shooting them! Thanks again for the behind the scene action photos Elena!

"Family Is Everything"

Yesterday I had the HONOR of capturing a beautiful family that was able to have one, in particular, Miss Jenifer come home for Thanksgiving. She is currently serving in the Air Force and she isn't able to come home and spend time as much as she wants with her family and friends. So she made sure while she was down here that she captured their moments together.

Photographing this family and watching them interact made me miss my family back home in Tennesseee. The love that they have is amazing! They welcomed me as the photographer and made me feel absolutely comfortable..I felt like a friend taking their photos rather than their "Photographer". Mrs. Fernandez was right there clicking away as well. I considered her to be the "Iphoneographer" during yesterday's shoot! I thought I got some great shots...you should see her Iphone Photo Album...she's great!! :)

It was a blessing to have Jenifer contact me to do her family photo shoot. But she also has chosen me to do be her photographer for her wedding as well which I am EXTREMELY EXCITED about! During this shoot, she wanted to get a couple of photos of herself to send to her fiance whom is also in the military and was not able to make it back home for the holidays. So we did just that. One thing I had her do was write a little note to him to just let him know how she felt and what she wanted him to know. While capturing her writing to him I got so teary eyed! I absolutely love LOVE!!!! I can't wait until the big day to see them join together as one! King...this one is for you!!

Thank you again Jenifer for choosing me to be the one to share with your friends and family the love that you have for your family! Cherish every moment..you guys are truly blessed!
