"Experimenting"
I decided to test my editing skills and experiment in photoshop. I was able to get CS5 and I am loving it. Now that I know the basics thanks to CruzDesignz Photographer Ralphy Cruz I have been able to put more action into my editing. I decided to try this type of photo editing because eventually I want to get better at it and do an alter ego shoot.
Above is the photo that I experimented with...Let me know what you guys think! You can also view it on my facebook business page ---> KLM PHOTOGRAPHY and comment there.

"Miss Runway 2011"
Soooo I finally got to shoot the one and only Miss Runway 2011 Ruth Tufiate today! And might I say she "KILLED" the shoot! I loved shooting her because there was no need in direction or anything..everytimes she heard the camera shutter she had a different pose ready! I've shot her in runway shows before but that was nothing like shooting her today; even though with both seeing her walk the runway or shooting her like I did today...it always gives me an adrenaline rush! She is always so professional and fun to work with. Thanks Ruth for a great photo shoot today! You were amazing! Here are a few photos to preview from her shoot!

"Photography By JR"
So for those who do not know..JR is my 4 year old son. And he has taking a liking to my old point and shoot Canon PowerShot Camera that I have. Being that I love photography I figure if he loves it why not teach it to him...Soooooo I have officially handed over (carefully) the Canon to my baby boy. I am now teaching him how to look at the view screen to see what he wants to take a focus on the subject to shoot. I had a hard time getting him to try and hold his finger on the button to make sure it took the photo but now I think he has it. He gets so excited to see the photos after he has taken them. So I am going to continue to let him use the camera and when we go places I will allow him to take photos with it to practice. I'm so excited now!
Here are his first photo shoots that he has taken. I have to make sure I keep these so he can see them later on in life if he decides he wants to continue in his interest in photography. Enjoy JR's work!! :)

"Photo Shoot and Fun!"
Today I did a photo shoot for a gorgeous girl at the beach named Alexandria (Alex). My Caribbean bestie came along to let the kids play on the beach while I did the shoot. It was so cold yesterday we thought it would be the same today but it was the exact opposite. It was really nice outside ....just super windy! But we got through the shoot! Also at the beach there was a wedding being prepared for this afternoon. The photographer for that wedding is going to get some amazing shots with the ocean and rocks in the background.
Anywho, here are a few photos from today. Thanks Mands for coming along and letting the rugrats terrorize you... Heart you girl!

"Educate, Educate, Educate"
JR does his matching of the lower case letters and upper case letters everyday. Today he was faster in pace putting ALL the letters together himself. I am so proud of him. He is doing awesome in school! The teacher told me today she is amazed at how quickly he catches on to things that they are learning. Even his Karate instrutor said he picks up really well in learning his moves, etc. I told her I definitely know that since he comes home teaching me and Berto his moves he learned in Karate class.
This is my baby doing his alphabet practice.
